Magic Jack: Story of a truly wondrous travel adventure

0

Today, I’m delighted to announce the publication of my children’s book, Magic Jack.

It’s a story about a brother and sister who go for a sleepover at their grandparents’ and discover their grandad can do real magic.

The adventure takes them around the world. You’ll find it fun to travel with them and see what magical experiences they get up to.

The story was inspired by one of my all-time favourite movies, The Man Who Could Work Miracles, released in 1937.

This was based on an H.G. Wells story published in Hampton’s Magazine in 1898. I once watched this gloriously goofy but poignant black-and-white movie with my grandson Jake, and he loved it. We both loved it.

Later, I thought it would be fun to write my own little “magic story” in which the main character, like the man who could work miracles in the movie, does fabulous magic simply by waving his hand.

The only difference is that my story has a happier, more positive ending.

Magic Jack is available in both paperback and Kindle (ebook) formats via Amazon.ca.

The Man Who Could Work Miracles, 1937

An entertaining read for those who believe in the magic of making wishes come true.
